Have travel restrictions reduced your ability to visit your favorite wine regions, or disrupted your plans to go abroad? Create your own “Brunch in the Vineyards” with the help of Queen of Wines and Residence Inn Raleigh Downtown.
Embark on a virtual and personable trip to meet Queen of Wines winery partners and spend time in the vineyards as well as in the cellars with our friend winemakers as they are going through the most intense time of the year: Harvest and Vinification.
Plan for a leisurely Saturday brunch, live Zoom between noon and 1 p.m. with family or close friends, from the comfort and safety of your home (or your backyard). Cook your preferred recipes or follow pairing recommendations shared by the winemakers themselves.
A wine package including one to two bottles, carefully selected with our friend winemakers, will be available for you to pick up prior to the event. Just connect with the Zoom link provided and enjoy the ride!
After visiting and tasting each wine with the winemaker at their family estate, you will be offered the opportunity to order some more at a preferred price.
Saturday, October 24, 2020: Pier Paolo Antolini, Fattoria Antolini (VENETO, IT)
Iconic wine from Veneto and a fabulous choice for the upcoming festive season!
Amarone Ca’ Coato 2016
Amarone Valpolicella Classico DOCG
A complex Amarone from vineyards located in the Negrar Valley. It is full and complex, with sweet notes of raisins, blackberry jam, and plum. The taste is rich with tobacco and licorice. Full-bodied with a long-lasting aftertaste.
Wine Package Price = $65.00
Pick up your wine from Residence Inn Raleigh Downtown before Thursday, October 22.
If you are unable to attend the live event, we will send you an archived copy to relive the event at a time that is more convenient for you. However, you will not have the luxury of interacting with the winemaker so we recommend attending live if possible.
**Must be 21 years of age or older to purchase wine and attend the virtual event.
