While visions of Sugar Plum Fairy Martinis danced in their heads…
At 10th & Terrace and Residence Inn Raleigh Downtown, we are proud to support the Carolina Ballet. To help get you in the holiday spirit, we have teamed up with Carolina Ballet to create a custom Nutcracker-themed cocktail called the Sugar Plum Fairy Martini. It is made with Absolut Vodka, Chambord liqueur, lemon juice, and simple syrup! ? It’s the perfect way to kick off the holiday season. Come try one at 10th & Terrace before January 1, 2021.
How to Watch Carolina Ballet’s The Nutcracker
Due to the ongoing pandemic and to ensure the safety of the dancers, musicians, staff, and patrons, the Carolina Ballet made the difficult decision not to perform The Nutcracker in front of live audiences in 2020, but this does not mean you will have to miss out this year. WRAL-TV and Capitol Broadcasting Company have partnered with Carolina Ballet to broadcast an exclusive TV event. On Christmas night, December 25, 2020, at 7 p.m. WRAL will air The Nutcracker, presented by PNC Bank and performed by Carolina Ballet.
For the first time ever, WRAL-TV and Carolina Ballet will work together on producing and broadcasting a one-of-a-kind version of this iconic ballet to homes across the region. “By taking the wonder of The Nutcracker out of the theatre and into living rooms, new and more diverse audiences can travel with Clara to the Land of Sweets and get introduced to the Sugar Plum Fairy and Tchaikovsky’s world-renowned score.” Learn more at CapitolBroadcasting.com.
