Residence Inn Raleigh Downtown
“I was a guest for a wedding in the area. We had a king suite, great size, and plenty of space to spread out. The full kitchen is a nice touch. I found the bed comfortable. The staff was incredible! Very friendly and accommodating. The entire hotel was very clean. We only dined in the morning for breakfast and they did a pretty good buffet style breakfast. The staff in the dining room was also very friendly. Parking is behind the hotel in the garage, and while I was thinking it was going to be a hassle. There is a entrance to the hotel from the garage on the third floor that made things very easy to come and go whenever we wanted. The location of the city center and activities is perfect. Easy walk to all the good stuff. All the things you want from a hotel for your stay in Raleigh!” – Rodger L.
“We would like to thank the entire staff at the Residence Inn for such excellent experience this past weekend. Our wedding event went without a hitch, and your facility was a big part of that. From the cordial people working the front desk; to the housekeeping staff; to the friendly people at your bar and restaurant- it was all great! We loved the hotel rooms, and the decks at the bar and breakfast area were also awesome! We will heartily recommend your hotel for anyone in the future.” – Jim C.
“Clean, well-maintained building with exceptionally friendly staff! We arrived late in the evening and were quickly accommodated. They have on-site parking and local shops and eateries within walking distance. First time staying in a hotel downtown, happily surprised by all the safety measures taken. You cannot enter the building if you do not have a key card, and also need a key to access the elevator. The room: A full kitchen, with bar seating large seating area, a desk, a wall of windows, and a modern designer bathroom ✔. Breakfast: One of the best 👌🏼. Eggs tasted like they were cracked fresh, kielbasa or sausage sauté in onions and peppers, bagels, cereals, roasted potatoes, oatmeal 😋… Everything was clean and stocked. Before we left, we ran into the chef and asked him for ice for our cooler. He was so friendly, joked with us, and gladly filled us up.” – Jojo G.
10th & Terrace
“Wow!!! The views are amazing.” – Adair P.
“Jason is an incredible bartender who makes the best old-fashioned east of the Mississippi.” – Dana D.
“Highly recommend the outdoor seating. Outstanding atmosphere and staff, who were very attentive. We will be returning for another visit in the near future.” – Chronic F.
“Great beer and bourbon selection. Small plates were fantastic. I had seared tuna encrusted in sesame seeds, seaweed salad, as well as the smoked black eye pea hummus. Both were well done.” – Cian R.
The Overlook
“My family and I ate dinner here before going to a concert. It was convenient to parking and the Red Hat Amphitheater and it turned out to be a great decision. The menu isn’t the largest I’ve seen, but there was definitely something for everyone, and I could have happily eaten anything on the menu. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared and portioned. Our server, Ricky, was attentive without hovering and made some great recommendations. He was both professional and personable, and a great asset to The Overlook. We’re happy to have found a great spot to eat next time we’re in Raleigh!” – Amanda L.
“My husband and I were here at the Residence Inn for a concert. We stopped by the bar to have some drinks and eat before the show. Not only was the food excellent, but the service was top-notch! Theresa and Kisha (I think those were their names) had the best personalities and made our experience great! We will definitely be back to the hotel AND the restaurant. Thanks for making our time there enjoyable!” – Kristen C.
“Great, quick, and responsive service. Ricky and Eduardo were very attentive.” – Timothy G.
